Y.O.U. is an abbreviation for Young Osdorp United. It’s an organization that shows the youth of Osdorp and Nieuw West that there are many possibilities in life besides low level jobs or crime if you're from this area of the city. They’re also involved in many social events taking place in the neighborhood.

 

In this selection you’ll find a combination of events that were organized for several reasons. One was for creating awareness of garbage in the neighborhood, another event was designed to  improve language learning techniques for those who want to learn Dutch and there was also a debate about poverty and inequality of opportunity, right before the elections of October 2025 were taking place.
